Bonded ADSL Guide
With the internet becoming an increasingly congested place, most businesses are looking for ways to maintain or improve their connection speed and capacity, without increasing costs. For many, the solution is bonded ADSL.
What is bonded ADSL?
Bonded ADSL is an innovative data networking solution, created through a process called ADSL bonding whereby two or more single ADSL lines are bonded together to form a new, superfast, singular connection.
Why do I need it?
You need bonded ADSL is regular broadband is no longer fast enough for your needs and you want to employ the fastest, most cost-effective and reliable solution to the problem.
When was bonded ADSL invented?
We've been working on the development of our ADSL bonding technology over the past eight years, constantly refining the product for business use. Because we essentially invented and designed the industry for bonded ADSL, we've become market leaders in its supply.
What are the benefits of bonded ADSL?
By hooking up multiple lines through ADSL bonding, users can experience uncontested broadband speeds far in excess of those offered by standard lines. Better still, the solution can be up to a half cheaper than investing in the installation of a leased line.
What is a leased line?
Leased lines are an older way of solving slow business broadband problems by renting out a dedicated connection from the network supplier. They are often much more expensive than bonded ADSL.
Is bonded ADSL faster?
In some instances, yes. Because you can bond several ADSL lines together, you can in theory multiply the available speed many times. Each newly formed bonded ADSL connection should maintain a capacity roughly equal to the sum of its constituent parts, so by joining two 2Mbps lines via ADSL bonding you can expect to garner speeds of around 4Mbps and so on.
Most users find that two or three bonded ADSL lines are sufficient but there are some businesses who operate with 16 or more bonded lines.
